Lisa Collins Werner is not afraid to take risks. Against all odds, Lisa branched out from a law firm in St. Louis, Missouri to open one of the first legal staffing agencies in that area. Known as the Esquire Group, many believed there was no need for such an agency, but Lisa saw its potential and became very successful. October 18 is Conflict Resolution Day
Conflict Resolution Day, or Mediation Day as it is sometimes referred to, was officially recognized by the Association for Conflict Resolution’s Board of Directors in 2005. The goal was to increase public awareness about conflict resolution and it’s many benefits. Since that time the ACR has coordinated it’s efforts with other conflict resolution organizations. Now Conflict Resolution Day is celebrated on local, state, national, and international level on the third Thursday of October.
