Lisa Collins Werner

Lisa Collins WernerLisa Collins Werner is the owner of Consensus Mediation Group. Lisa is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Civil and Family Law Mediator. Her success as a mediator is built on her exceptional ability to help identify the key issues underlying a dispute and to focus the mediation process on achieving a fair and expedient resolution.

Lisa is licensed to practice law in Tennessee, Missouri and Illinois and brings more than 20 years of experience in business and law to the mediation group. She has handled mediations dealing with a variety of business issues, including contract negotiations, employment disputes and real estate conflicts. She has successfully practiced civil litigation and insurance defense. Lisa has launched several businesses and served as their general counsel. She has gained extensive experience in employment discrimination while managing over 500 cases for the Missouri Commission on Human Rights.

Judge Sharon J Bell

Judge Sharon J BellSharon Bell is a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator. Ms. Bell served as Knox County General Sessions Judge and Chancellor of the Sixth Circuit sitting in Knoxville before retiring as Chancellor in 2006.

Before entering the judiciary she served two terms as a representative in the Tennessee General Assembly while practicing law with the firm of Jackson Bell and Dossett. As a practicing attorney she handled cases primarily involving bankruptcy and business law and was a Trustee in Bankruptcy.

As a jurist she was a member of the Tennessee Trial Judges Association and the Judicial Evaluation Committee. While Chancellor she was the chairperson of the Sharon J. Bell Knox County Governmental Library. As part of her community involvement she was a member of the National Board of Family Service America.

Recognition for her public service includes the Annie P. Selwyn award presented by the Knoxville Women’s Center, the YMCA Tribute to Women Award in the category of Government and Community, Woman of the Year from the American Business Women’s Association, Knoxville Chapter.

Jean Munroe

Mike Powell

Mike Powell specializes in general and complex civil litigation including real estate, worker’s compensation, personal injury, products liability, fidelity and surety bond litigation. His experience with the FDIC and as in-house bank counsel allowed him to handle collection related litigation, foreclosures and complex workout negotiations as well as providing advisory opinions to senior management regarding special assets, deposit accounts and other operational matters. His experience representing and advising clients in a variety of areas provides him with the practical, hands-on problem solving and conflict resolution ability to guide parties as their neutral to practical and workable solutions. He truly understands that the most time and cost effective method of resolving disputes is through mediation.

In addition to his work as an attorney, Mr. Powell worked in the building supply business and is a past vice president of the Home Builders Association of the Upper Cumberland.
